Overview - Introduction to IBM Engineering Global Configuration Management
This course is intended for new users of IBM Engineering Configuration Management and Global Configuration. It introduces the basic and advanced concepts and features of IBM Engineering Configuration Management. It includes hands-on exercises where users will learn to create, edit, manipulate, and analyze configuration management data at the local and global level for IBM Engineering products including IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next, IBM Engineering Test Management, IBM Engineering Rhapsody Modeling Manager, IBM Engineering Workflow Management. The training will enable participants to understand the shift from a project-centric mindset to a product-centric model that enables better reuse and utilization of data.
Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to work with IBM Engineering Global Configuration and use the key features of the solution. This two-day course is the essence of knowledge on the basics of working with Engineering Configuration Management and Global Configuration Management. The training will enable participants to quickly get started working with the tool so that they can meet the key requirements and expectations related to configuration and variant management in ongoing projects.
